  12. My modem is sportster 14.4 with fax but I think the dip switch setting
  13. would be the same. Heres my settings 1=up 2=up 3=down 4=up 5=down
  14. 6=up 7=up 8=down. If put switch 1 down and leave the other settings
  15. alone then DTR is off hook, that is even if you diconnect your
  16. communications terminal you still have a connection. See if this works.
